What a great event...  "A 60s Soiree" presented by Los Angeles Wine Tasting http://www.lawinetasting.com/  was a resounding success!  Held in the LATC Grand Lobby the event featured excellent wines, great people, delicious food, great 60s fashions, great jazz music and an amazing collection of photos from iconic photographer Phil Stern featuring JFK's Inaugural Ball in January 1961.  Celebrity guests summoned by gala impresserio Frank Sinatra included Nat King Cole, Ella Fitzgerald, Gene Kelly, Tony Curtis,  Bette Davis, Peter Lawford and Jimmy Durante.  The 60s fashion show was produced by Dave Temple with Clever Vintage Clothing, providers for the Mad Men series.  The U.S. wines were hand picked from L.A. boutique wineries by Buzz Wine Beer Shop and the Italian wines were imported by D'Aquino.  Delicous munchies featuring appetizors, artisan cheeses,  bread, fresh and dried fruit, nuts, spreads and smoked salmon was catered by Nicole's Gourmet Food with Grand Cru truffles by Yvan Valentin.... and they were delicious(:   Hotel de Ville vintage eyewear was also on the scene in the boutique area.  Guests really got into the spirit of the 60s - I  rate this event a solid 10 and look forward to the next Los Angeles Wine Tasting soiree....  HH(:
