A fantastic nite on the red carpet with Debbie Reynolds and friends Anne Jeffreys, Florence Henderson, Mitzi Gaynor, Kathy Lennon, Paley Center's Pat Mitchell,  Lorraine Bracco, Lois Aldrin,  A.C. Lyles, Dominic Pace and Rip Taylor as they arrived at "Debbie Reynolds: The Exhibit" at the Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills.  I had a blast hosting for Esteban Escobar's Diversity News TV and look forward to my next on-camera assignment.  Debbie shared with me that she started collecting over 50 years ago.  She said that it bothered her that the studios didn't care about the movie memorabilia so she started on her mission to collect and preserve these treasures.  The multi media exhibit will run til early December and includes iconic costumes, posters and props from Academy Awards-winning film classics such as "Gone With The Wind", "Show Boat", "The Yearling" and "Moulin Rouge" as well as garments worn by legendary icons such as Marilyn Monroe, Frank Sinatra, Katharine Hepburn, Bette Davis, Carmen Miranda, Doris Day and many more.  After that look for "Debbie Reynolds: The Auction Part ll". It will be interesting to see how much  Marilyn Monroe's classic costume from the acclaimed 1956 Joshua Logan film "Bus Stop" will go for as well as the collection's other treasures.  The exhibit which encompasses both floors of the beautiful Paley Center is open o the public.  The first floor viewing  is available free of charge. Admission to the 2nd floor gallery is free to Paley Center members and only $6.00 for the general public and visitors will also have access to the center's unparalleled media archive featuring over 150,000 programs spanning the history of television, radio and digital media.  Visit http://www.paleycenter.org/ for more information about the exhibit and http://www.profilesinhistory.com/ for more information about the auction. To see my interveiws online visit http://www.youtube.com/  or http://www.blip.tv/ and search Debbie Reynolds: The Exhibit, Diversity TV,Harrison Held. Enjoy....  HH(:
